December Meeting Notes

We had a great turnout for our December meeting.  We'd like to thank Illinois High Twelve Secretary Ed Rund, and Treasurer Raymond Blum for attending our December Meeting and providing us with information about the organization.  It is official!  We are going to charter our Illini Freemason Lunch Club into a High Twelve chapter in Champaign-Urbana.  We will begin that process at our next meeting on January 19th.  This would be an excellent chance to become involved--you could be one of our charter members!

Thanks again to Ed and Ray for attending.

December Lunch: December 15th, 2011

Come join us for our monthly lunch at Urbana Garden Restaurant in Urbana, Illinois (I-74 and Lincoln Avenue.)  At noon.  Bring a spouse.  Bring a friend.  Come as you are.

We'll be talking a little bit more about chartering a High Twelve International in Champaign-Urbana.

Join Us For Lunch: Thursday, November 17th at Noon

Next Thursday, November 17th at noon, at the Urbana Garden (at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Interstate 74), the Illini Freemason Lunch Club will be meeting for lunch.

We had a lot of fun last time, and we hope to build on that.  It's our intention to keep the meeting informal and social.  Come as you are.  Bring your wife.  Bring a friend from work.

As was mentioned, our eventual goal is to build interest and eventually charter a High Twelve.  Bro. Knott has been in contact with the High Twelve Illinois people, and I'm sure he'll have a little information to share. Other than that, it's about food and conversation.

Hope to see you there.

Welcome to the Illini Freemason Lunch Club

On Thursday, November 3rd, the Illini Freemason Lunch Club held its first official meeting at Urbana Garden (Lincoln Avenue and Interstate 74).  We had eight Masons show up.  We've scheduled another lunch at Urbana Garden for November 17th at Noon.

We had a really good time!  If you're in the area, please join us.  It's very informal--bring a friend, or bring your wife.  We want to use this lunch club to promote the fraternity, so please feel free to bring somebody you think would be a good Mason along with you.  Above all, we want to keep this lunch club informal and fun--something our members look forward to every month.

We're still working on the best day to meet, so we won't have a regular schedule until we find what day works best, but we will post our meetings times here.

Our eventual goal if we find there is interest in this lunch club is to charter a High Twelve in Champaign-Urbana.  There is more about that organization here.
